destroyed carrier bearing on my 99 in my sig otw to work 30 miles from home, ive never replaced one before, any tips, only tools available are sockets and wrenches and a hammer? thanks

do you got it figured out and changing a carrier bearing out on the side of the road can be so much fun

Once you have dropped the shaft and bearing out you might have to find a shop with a press to have the bearing pressed off and on. All you need to get it out and in are hand tools.

well, got it home, when i went i was 100 ft from the entrance to my work so i limped it to the parking lot and then trailered her home this afternoon, gonna mess with changing it on my days off
