Question 2004 f350 diesel problems

It figures 8 weeks out of warranty, and problems start. Noticed small oil drops in garage. Then when idling the check gauge light comes on, oil pressure gauge drops, when you accelorate the light goes out and the oil pressure gauge goes back to normal.
I am a woman and not mechanically inclined, but I really need help. Could this be the oil pressure sending unit...and if so where is located and what is the difficulty in replacing it--

Thanks alot
Woman in distress

Could be the sending unit, or the oil pump, or oil that's too thin. Find out what code or codes are setting.

keep the dip stick more often if you have a leak. you don't need to run the engine too low on oil

Default cracked front cover

How to I check for this, or should I say where do I check for this. Remember, I am not very mechanically inclined, so I can use all the information you can give me. I replaced the sending unit today. Gauge is right where it should be. Changed the oil 2 weeks ago.
