2000 f250 will not start
It all started yesterday when I decided it was time to replace the o-rings on the pedestal and gut the ebv in there. After crawling all over the engine for what seemed like forever(damn rear exhaust donut thingy) I finally get everything taken out and then put back together. I fire the truck up a couple times then move it into some shadey flat ground to change the oil. Got that done and went to fire it up with no luck. Would turn over good and strong until the batteries got too weak. Hooked it up to my other car and finally got it to fire up. Drove it around the block and down to the oil recycle place. Came back shut the truck off and same thing. I have looked everything over a 100 times and even tore it all back apart tonight to see if I missed somthing hooking everything back up. Truck still doing the same thing, for the most part. On some random occasions it will fire up right away. and others I will turn it over for 5 seconds leave it and come back 10 min later and it will fire up. I have checked the hpop for oil and it is good. I have drained the fuel bowl and checked to see if pump is working and it is. Only codes I am getting as of right now are a P0603 Internal Control Module KAM Error
and the other is for having the ebv unplugged. I have little knowlegde of these engines and really am stumped bad with hunting season here with truck not running right. Just my luck, try and fix a lil oil leak now truck wont start. Also I plan on smoking over every fuse I can tomm bright and early, how can I go about checking the relays? thanks for reading and hope this turns out to be something simple and stupid.

i know you have a programmer on that thing Coy and i didn't even think to get you to program it back to stock and to see if the problem goes away or if it stays. have you tried this yet?
BTW the P0603 is a code that happens because of a programmer. nothing to worry about.....

charging the batt for the time being after taking it in and having it check. They said it is low but good. I have checked the hpop and fluid level is good, as also the dipstick level. Gonna charge her up really good then give it a shot.

did you program it back to stock? did that make any difference? also the CPS, i know you said it has the international one in there, it wouldn't happen to be blue would it? how about putting the "stock" one back in and take it to ford and tell them you think the CPS is faulty because if the no crank condition, you might have a faulty CPS even though it is from international......

returned it to stock and still have the issue. starts when It wants too, just went out to start it and it would turn over nice and strong with no luck. gonna give it another shot here in a few. I am stumped here!! I put changed out the blue cps with the stocker with no luck either. gonna go out and unplug the icp to see what happens. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh

if you could get yourself a "new" CPS it would be nice to try and see if that could be it, you might want to check with Frank on TMCA and see if he might have some contacts where he could get one or could get one to test with..... just a thought......

We have been exchanging PM's for the last few days....
I think we have it narrowed down to a IPR or ICP issue. He is going to clean the IPR this weekend and then check the ICP sensor as well.
