Your oil pressure sensor most likely has gotten hit, Failed or unpluged. If not, your PCM could be acting up! The sensor is to the rear of the engine, If you look at the back of the ecm , It'll be right behind and below the ecm!

No, It would be the PCM which controls ICP (instrument control panel), If it's got a bad ground or has failed it can also cause the gauge to fail!

Most oil pressure senders take a special socket to remove. I think it is somewhere in the range of 1 1/16 inch but it has rounded corners and a normal socket won't grip it right. Sounds like you are 40 and plum like me. 40 miles out and plum in the middle of nowhere. The sender in our 92 went bad on a delivery in Key west and I used a whip hose for a grease gun and a cheep mechanical gauge to test it.

#22 in the pic. Most likely you hit it. My gauge doesn't work either. Sits at 102psi or 50psi.

As long as its a small one and you've still got some boost you should be fine. You do run a pyro correct?
