Default WTFreak!

last night my 99 2500 lost the dome and cargo lights, they would come on, tried new bulbs, nothing. to i figured it was the headlight switch, so i got a new one, they still wont come on and now when i turn the headlights on, the whole igniton system comes on the FASS pump, radio, gauges, everything except turning the starter. any ideas??? checked all fuses inside, possibly a relay some where??

hate to say it but when I got got a vehicle with as issue as bad as you are saying (many electrical issues not working as it should with different systems crossing) the harness was usually melted pretty good in 1 area causing all the shorts or less likely chaffed somewhere on a body seam. You need to start tracing down all the wiring. Do you have a VOM and a wire tracer?

Warranty electrical work never paid crap.
