Default Diesel prices in Canada

Does anybody know about how much diesel costs in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba? Tryin to help PuddlePirate plan his trip to Alaska and need some quick help. He's leavin in the mornin and tryin to figure out if he should stay in the U. S. as long as possible or go into Canada. Thanks for your help! Doesn't have to be exact, just roundabout

Last night I paid 80 cents a litre at Flying J in Edmonton, Alberta.

Price ranges from 80 cents to $1.00 a litre (Canadian dollars). Of course, the further north you go, the more money it is. Although, Im reasonably sure it will be cheaper in Alaska.

How many litres=gallon? Canadian dollars=U.S. dollars?

Sorry...1 US gallon = 3.78 litres

So, a gallon is $3.02-3.78....give or take.



1 Canadian dollar (as of today) = 0.94 US so an american dollar is worth $1.06 Canadian

From the post that Doc did, it appears they are pretty close. As he said 94 cent here equals $1.06 there. It looks like he should'nt notice much of a difference.

Yeah, I kinda got it figured out, still curious about the prices in Manitoba and Saskatchewan if anybody can give me an idea.

I suspect prices will be higher in Manitoba and Sask.

NO...1 U.S. Dollar = $1.06 Canadian

But, yeah its pretty close now.
