Default wierd problem with a D-Max

The truck is STOCK 2001.He says's head gasket I have my reserves No water in the oil or leaking out but it is goning somewhere,heater not getting hot either and It's not over heating.He said it puffed a little white smoke under heavy throttle but I can't see it and I was behind him.

does his radiator hose get hard and stay hard over night after he drives it?

hoes does the coolant reservoir look any oil in there or evidence of oil, is there alot of pressure built up in the over flow tank?

It does blow out the overflow tank but no sign of oil

if it stays hard its a blown HG. there should be oil or some evidence in his coolant too

01's have Hg problems they fixed that in 02 though

I got to drive it today hard hose,but I can't find any evidence of oil anywhere or coolant also find out that he is not running any theromstats

if it blows out of overflow tank with or without oil it is head gasket or if he has egr cooler (that could do it too)
