update on truck is dead
I took the starter off and had it checked and it is fine. Replaced starter relay. Still won't turn over. Shouldn't I have 12 volts to the relay all the time? I get 12 volts when the key is turned to the start position. If I run a jumper to the one turminal on the relay and then put the relay in with the wire hooked up I can get in the truck and it starts fine. I seems like I lost my 12 volts that continously feeds the starter relay. Anyone ever had this happen? I'm going to pull the relay panel loose so I can trace the wires on the relay and see where I'm looing power.
there is a fuse its in your fuse panel under the hood you will have 12v to the relay all the time then when you turn your key you will have a 2nd power to the relay my starter was going bad and i had to replace it all the time till i got a new starter i will get you a pic here in a min
