Sounds like the same problem I had about a year ago. I put a FASS pump in it and problem solved.

2003 F350 6.0 This sounds like the same problem I have . I start up fine run down the road about 2 or 3 miles and the truck stalls. I have to wait about 45 minutes to an hour and it will start right up

The slow cranking is most likely the batteries, but I really don't think it has anything to do with the other problem you are having.
