Default help 2004 dodge 2500 cumming turns off

hey guys so i was driving home and a block before i get home my truck turns off so i turned it back on and boom again shuts off. This happen for about a minute then i was able to start it and park it then it shut off again. it has diesel i tried to rev it and see if it would not shut off but still after a couple of seconds rpms drop and truck dies. what can it be ?? thanks in advance

How many miles on the truck? Thats what mine would do when the lift pump took a crap. Is your lp still mounted on the fuel filter bowl? If so just turn your key to the run position and you should here the pump kick on instantly. If its silent then time to trouble shoot to be sure thats it, then give AirDog a call. Good luck!

truck has about 110k. lifter pump what does this do where would it be under my hood and how much they go for? sorry im not too familiar with diesels but is it a easy fix? I need my truck for work so need to fix it right away. how do i trouble shoot it

I would say, see if changing the battery in your key fob helps. If not, give the other one a try and see if that helps. Might have to have the dealer reprogram them to the truck.

Your 04 doesn't have a key with the door lock/unlock and panic buttons all in one unit??
