well, truck is an '03 and it does have 109,000 miles. and it's the only one doing it. i understand the CPS recall, but just a short isn't really grounds for a recall i think.

Use some dielectric grease and see if that helps.

If you follow those wires back towards the harness, you'll find a connection for the entire pigtail. I forget how much they run, but it comes with that connection. It also has your fuel bowl wires too. They'll have it at Ford. Those wimpy terminals can get spread out too wide pretty easily.

Go to the dealer and ask for an IPR pig tail, if they say they don't sell it find an international dealership, we sell them all day long. I have seen numerous IPR pig tails with spread pins. I would put an IPR and a pig tail in it.

Default My 6.0 2003 stalls and won't start for an hour

My truck will start fine . I drive it for about 2 or 3 miles an it stalls out and won't restart. I have to let it sit for about an hour an then it will restart . I then can go 2 or 3 miles ,stall , cool down ,one hour and starts

Does this also sound like IPR wiring ?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

were can I find the IPR wiring connection located?
