Default Help P0148 and P0483

Hello all,

I keep getting a fuel delivery error code and it seems the truck is defueling or not getting fuel at around 25 lbs of boost, very laggy and lack of power. I uninstalled the programmers and puck, cleared codes and it still does it, tripping the same code every time. I'm getting a P0148 and P0483 Codes Any help would be great

Can anyone help with this, any ideas?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

By the way the Air Dog 150 and Nozzles where just installed a few weeks ago, the problems just started a few days ago, The truck is wanting to stall right off the stop and is starting hard and stumbling. When its cold it may take 2 or 3 tries for it to fire.

P0148 Possible Causes:

OTHERS DTC’S PRESENT
FUEL LEAKS
FUEL CONTROL ACTUATOR
FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR
CASCADE OVERFLOW VALVE
CHECK VALVE DAMAGED OR BLOCKED
FUEL RETURN LINES OBSTRUCTION, DAMAGE, OR DEBRIS
LIFT PUMP FLOW
AIR IN FUEL SYSTEM
LEAKING FUEL INJECTORS OR HIGH PRESSURE CONNECTORS
PRESSURE LIMITING VALVE
HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP
INTERMITTENT CONDITION

More than likely, the module/programmer you were running, popped the rail pressure relief. One way to check is remove the banjo bolt from it and start it. If fuel runs or sprays out, either a new valve ($400) or cap it and run the risk of blowing an injector (new engine $6000).

P0483 possible Causes:

(K668) 5-VOLT SUPPLY CKT OPEN FROM ECM HARNESS CONNECTOR TO FAN CLUTCH HARNESS
CONNECTOR
INTERMITTENT CONDITION
(K161) SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO (690) RETURN IN THE HARNESS
(K161) SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE
(K161) SIGNAL CIRCUIT IN ECM SHORTED TO GROUND INSIDE ECM
(K161) SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE IN THE ECM
(K668) 5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT IN ECM

You still fightin this issue or have you found the problem. Be sure to post your findings here for the next victim with the same issues.

Has anybody had problems with the filters on the airdog cloging up within the first couple weeks?

Also does anybody have any knowledge of a stock CP3 not being able to keep up with 90hp nozzles?

It appears my truck is starving for fuel above 1/2 throttle or above 20# of boost. All components checked good with Dodge. The fuel pres set point and the actual fuel pres are getting to much variance, causing the light, meaning say at a set rpm the fuel pres should be say 10000# mine would be say 7500#. These are not factual numbers just an example. From my understanding the set point and the actual fuel pressure can only be within 500# difference.

Dodge tech's tested all and CP3 tested good

would the standard 2 micron get cloged from the lucas fuel additive, the temps here have been around 0 for about 2 weeks. No fuel geling has been found. Thinking about it the problem started about the time or shortly after I added it and it got real cold. No problems prior.
