i am 30 days out of the 7yr/200,000 mile warranty, i went the other day to the dealership to have them do a check on my injectors and tell me why i am blowing a gray haze smoke out. They told me i had 8 bad injectors and 2 leaky head gaskets.. i have only had this truck for 3 months. I got a warranty with it, it was a WAS warranty. WAS repairs everything else on my truck but the injectors, go figure. ohh they dont do gaskets or seals. I am just so screwed, i am having a hard time finding some injectors at a reasonable price. the dealership gave me a printout with a code P1094.

 

i know of a few people selling some injectors with low miles on them. the hg's you might find somebody who can do them for a decent price and they usually would do injectors for free too.

That's brutal man. Did you check the vehicle history before you bought it wrt the injectors?
That really sucks buying an early Duramax that hasn't had the injectors changed yet right after that 200,000 mile warranty expires.

 

yeah i did check history on this truck before i bought it. It had the new injectors put in at 99000 and they were the new updated sets. so i am trying to sell my ruger 30-06 hawkeye or trade for the injectors.. i am just so bummed. any help would be alright in my book. i am in colorado right now working and i use this truck to go back and forth to work, i must get this truck back to working order so i could atleast go home to california..

damn...new injectors and they failed after 100,000miles...that's brutal. If I checked the report and saw the same thing you did I would have bought the truck too, I never would have figured a new set would be TKO after only 100k.
