Upgraded fuel pump in the tank, tell em thanks but no thanks. Theyare no better then the junk hangin on the side of the motor. When the tank pump screws up, now you have to drop the tank before you can run anything else cause it will slow fuel delivery down. Just upgrade to an afteramarket pump now before it's to late.

The most common options are the Walbro, Holley Blue or Black and the FASS.

As for hiding the fact that you have played with the truck, that all depends on how hard they wanna look. If they wanna play nasty, and they know what they are doing, they will find the tell tale signs. Best bet is to not give them any reason to wanna look.

I will even take the velcro off the fuse box where the edge mounts and give it a shoot first

I was just about to call you and see if you made it home. When you clean off the velcro, make sure you get every bit if sticky crap and rinse the engine good so that they won't be able to find where you have been fooling with connectors.

If they find something of concern they will tag your truck in the dealer computer system. These are the hazards of playin. Most shops won't go through all this trouble without good reason though.

I have a FASS on my vegi oil system and its a strong pump...had it apart once and those gears look like they could pump gravel uphill.
