Question Oil Leak

The oil cooler on my 7.3 is leaking, and Im having trouble finding anybody who know anything about changing the o rings or seals in it, just wondering if anybody has tackled this problem because I heard it was pretty common with the old 7.3

its normal for a 7.3 to leak out of every seal.

My 7.3 would leak when I would add more than 15 quarts of oil, so I made sure to only put 14 to 14.5 quarts.

You can reach the bolts to the oil cooler front mount from underneith the truck as well as the cooler header in the rear. Do yourself a favor and drain the coolant and oil before removing anything . The oil cooler separates from the front mount and the header, put on your new o-rings and re-assemble. Not a bad job at all.

Cooler front mount gasket - 97 & up F7TZ-6A636-AA
96 & below F4TZ-6A636-B
Cooler header gasket - F4TZ-6A636-A
Cooler o-rings - E3TZ-6C610-A
