I tried replacing the air intake heater with no results. Does anyone have another idea?

I bet its in the relay

I have never seen or heard of one of the elements going out

the relay in the fuse box, ya I replaced it also. Is there anything else???

Have you check the conections on the back side of the fuse box they may be loose.
