But.. even if it is a bad injector, it should still Start.

is there any way to bleed the entire system out of air except just cranking on it? and could the map sensor cause it to not crank? could the fresh fuel been enough to cause the filter to stop up, and we just havent gotten all the air bled out of it. we replaced the map sensor and got rid of the code, and now it seems to be wanting to start, and will stay running as long as the starter is engaged, but it will not idle on its on. and the injectors have never been replaced since he bought the truck new. we had a similar problem before when changing the filter, but it was only air in the filter, priming it with the pump fixed that.

if you can get it to run, check and see if one side seems to be shut off.

nope you would need a lift pump for that the cp3 draws thier own fuel on a dmax. and don't try to crack open the injectors its hpcr that's at 6kpsi at idle and can go up to 26kpsi.

im guessing it would run if you keep you foot on it too if you get it turned over?

i knew not to try to crack the injectors, from NADC, i did pay attention in fuel systems class, but i was wandering if there was any way to bleed the entire system, like the ISX cummins you can bleed all the air out of the entire head assembly, but then again that is a fullsize tractor trailer engine.

i forget the number but it was a map sensor input voltage low, or something like that, the map sensor was bad, and we replaced it and no longer got the code, but could not figure anything out after killing the batteries twice today.
