Default Truck Is Dead

i just got my pyro put in. went to see how much it was readin. floored it goin up the hill. let off and the truck died. i had to rebleed the entire fuel system again. the i tried to drive it again and it died again. wtf. got it home and still have the scanner i barrowed from a friend. hooked it up and came up with P0252. INJECTION PUMP FUEL METERING CONTROL "A" RANGE/PERFORMANCE (CAM/ROTOR/INJECTOR)

does this mean the pump is bad. if not what exactly does it mean.

thanks for any info

Eddie

Someone ought to chime in. But to me, sounds like a stuck valve inside the injector pump and it's starving it. Time for a new pump sounds like.

Sounds to me like the pump is done. Did you get the code to clear? Run any different with the code cleared?

Im thinking the same thing. Doesnt look good for your pump.

Did you have any previous codes? I see you have an Airdog in your sig - what kind of fuel pressure are you seeing? Have you tried cracking #1 injector line?

I agree with the above. Sounds like your VP crapped the bed. Sorry to hear that man. Hate to have bad luck.

i didnt clear the code to make sure i didnt lose the code. but am going to today.
i havent had any codes since i got it running besides water in fuel but that sensor is unhooked and i washed the motor and got it wet. as soon as it dried it went out.
i still havent bought a fuel pressure gauge.
i have cracked injector #1, 3, 4 to rebleed the fuel system. all squirted fuel out and caused the truck to miss like it should till it was tightened back up.
one other thing, would this make it havelike a shudder in overdrive. just throughing it out there to try a keep from buying a tc.

thanks for the suggestions

Eddie

Once it hits O/D (3rd gear) and before the converter locks, it has a shutter?
