HELP!!!

Any more details you can throw out here. Have you had it checked for codes yet, what is your Fuel pressure showing at idle and WOT. This could be just about anything at this point. Fuel delivery or sensors would be the most probable cause.

i have an airdog sitting next to me and im gonna put that in i just got my gauges in and im gonna hook up my fuel pressure gauge up as soon as i get the airdog in, id be driving and it would buck and i thought the tranny was acting up it felt like it didnt know what gear to go in, like it didnt kno whether or not it wanted to downshift or not.....then i got to the redlight right after this and it had like a radical idle....then i put it in neutral and reved it up and its stumbled and kinda backfired and white smoke came out of the exhaust

You need quick help with this one so we'll move it here. I'm wonderin about a head gasket. But it could very well be fuel delivery/VP44. If it is the pump and all this is the first symptoms it was showin that would be odd though. Codes will tell if it is the pump.
You should have the on board diagnostics to check for some of the basic codes with.

Check for on board codes by turning the "ignition" key ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON Within three seconds. Don't start the truck, just turn the key to the run position. The codes will come up on the digital guage on your odometer.
