I have an 07 5.9 4x4 6 speed manual tranny with an EFI live . It has 327K on it . Last week I had to replace the drivers side battery, due to a mishap ( dropped something on it and it caused a hole in it ). I changed out the power steering pump and got a new battery and installed . I noticed battery acid in the tray . Cleaned everything around and under it . about 2-3 minutes after hooking up the battery , the TIPM starts smoking. I disconnected both batteries and removed the TIPM . . Did some research but not enough evidently . I bought another DORMAN TIPM from O'reillys , installed it and now my dash lights pulsate as does my air dog fuel pump . Any and All help would be greatly appreciated . Do I need the TIPM reflashed . The truck turns over like it wants to start but it doesn't startup .
