Default small water problem

I have pulled the heads off my lb7 because of water getting away somewhere and number 3 cylinder has some soot in it but it is damp and the rest aren't damp I cant really see where the gasket is leaking but it does not loose that much water just enough to be aggravating . Could this be where it is going ? thanks

It sounds like you have found the culprit for coolant loss. Make sure the heads are completely flat before bolting them back on the new gaskets, and for added insurance I would recommend new head bolts when putting it all back together.

Yes I just couldn't really figure whether it was the gasket or the injector cup but I will address both of these and also going back with ARP studs. Thanks for the feedback
