Default VE Pump Won't Idle.

Driving down to Ohio. getting off the highway with my foot off the throttle..engine was wanting to stall. I got it shut down at a gas station when I started it back up it wouldn't idle but runs smooth off idle... fuel filter was changed couple thousand miles ago. HELP

I dont know anything about VE's - but how about rubber fuel lines Logan? This is a common problem on P-7100's.

I replaced the lift pump a couple months again not even 5 thousand miles on it...I replace the filter... I was told over time the springs in the throttle linkage gets stretched so I adjusted the idle and it seems to idle and go down the road fine. sounds like its idling where it was before I think...I dont have a tach.

I think its fixed

A good rule of thumb on the VE's to get the idle close is turn it up untill th emirriors stop shakeing. Thats about 750 RPM... Always been close for me.
