Question 05 Duramax Engine Light

I have a 2005 Duramax with 6.6L motor and for the last couple of weeks have been having issues with the check engine light coming on and shutting off. It all started about 2 weeks ago the light came on so I pulled over had it checked out at my local guy here in small town America in the Midwest he says the code says I need to replace my turbo boost cylinod. So I get it through the dealership where I bought the truck get it put in and three miles later the same code appears he says well when we took the old one out I could visually see that it was sticking and not allowing the vanes in the turbo to line up well try to relearn the turbo again. It takes For a couple days then
Here I am a couple days later and the light says the same thing.

Do I just need to keep trying to relearn the turbo to get the vanes to match or is the turbo junk and I need to put it a new one? Or am I in need of a new sensor possibly seems they are just as stumped as I am...It runs and drives fine I can still hear the turbo kicking in and out as it sits there idling so I'm kinda lost looking for some help on this one. I don't have the code that it's throwing but that's what I've been told it says to replace.

I'm still only a newbie when it comes to fully diagnosing these things on diesels but I enjoy doing the work on em and don't have all the expensive chips and du hickys for mine yet but we'll get there I've owned the truck for 2 yrs never had an issue with it.
