1996 dodge 2500 with later model auto trans
hi I just bought a 96 2500 dodge and it wont shift into low the trans is supposed to be out of a 98 - 2000 truck the o/d works the trans starts odd in 2, if it is put in drive it down shifts into 2 doesnt go into low. Would this be usable or am I able to convert something to be able to use this trans and engine combo. thanks Carl

Sounds like a front band adjustment to me. Or if the trans has a TV cable it may need adjusting.
Does it shift out good from 2,3,OD?
Does it kick down to a lower gear when doing 40mph or so when romping on the accelerator pedal?
