Hi everyone. I am having trouble trying to figure out what would cause this motor to knock. 93 ford 7.3 Idi. This motor has 97000.00 miles. Motor sat for a year or 2. After I installed this motor never made a single noise. Till a month later. Then made a nock noise. I thought it might be bad injectors. Opened the injectors one at à time noise was still there. pulled the valve cover on the passenger side valves seem to be OK and working fine. Just wondering if this is a bad motor. motor runs good . This motor did come out of an ambulance so I did change some things I also used the old wiring harness. There is a module on the throttle housing that I couldn't use I also had to use my old flywheel. The ambulance was an automatic and the truck that I put the motor in is a standard 5 speed. I am not sure if this is normal.
