Default 7.3 hard cold start lots of white smoke help

Ok guys newbie here
International 4700 444 7.3 just don't wanna turn over in the cold 44 degrees here in PA tried to get her turned over and took 45 mins
I replaced the gpr and checked the voltage and seems to be fine
Once she's running she runs like a champ
Any help would be great

you didnt say weather or not you checked the glow plugs ...with an ohm meter each glow plug should read no more than 1 ohm any more than that they are no good...good luck hope this helps...scott

Thanks Scott
I did try plugging in the heater plug for about an hour and she turned right over with ease
Not sure using the plug is necessary at 45-50 degrees however still had some whit smoke at start

If plugging in the block heater helped than you defiantly need a set of glow plugs.
