I recently got a 94 6.5td. Had a lot of issues. The wiring harness was chewed up by field mice and truck sat for over a year with out fuel. Those problems have been fixed but now I cant get my fuel system to pressurize. I've got fuel at the injectors just no/low pressure maybe 1 psi at most. I'm getting the same leaving the lift pump. I'm new to diesels and don't have much hair left to pull out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

sounds like your injection pump is shot internaly ....time for a rebuild...scott

 

That's what I'm afraid of. But I know the truck ran fine when it was parked and it's not just low pressure after ip the whole system has low pressure. I'm hopping after I fix glow plugs and purge the system some more I Will be able to crank it. The ip rebuild will be after all other possibilities have be eliminated.
