Hey guys!

I recently bought a 1992 7.3 idi it ran fine for a week and I then I did a fuel filter change and then a few days after I started having starting issues. I don't know if it's convenient timing but a few days after I started having idling issues, the truck starts up right away but almost right after it starts to idle funny and it runs rough and shakes really bad, and if I don't keep my foot on the throttle it will stall out on itself. If I keep my foot on the throttle for about 5-10 seconds it smooths out and then it will idle fine, then when I drive it runs fine and will idle just fine when I'm at red lights and such, only when it starts up does it run like this. Any ideas where to start?

 

i would look at the fuel pump on the pass. side engine low and up front the bladder may have a hole in it and its just now starting to leak or suck air in ...thats were i would start...scott
