My 95 Chevy 2500 Diesel 6.5L keeps blowing Ignition fuse
Hi guys...
My truck is blowing the ignition fuse A 50A I bought a 60A for an extra and that blew as well. sometimes I can drive a good distance with no problem then when I shut if off and get ready to start it blows when I turn the key, I swapped out a new fuse and it blew as soon as I put the new one in.
Last year I changed the ignition switch. and after this I've started having this intermittent problem.
I've checked all the wires, battery cables etc and found no cuts or chaffing on any cables that may be causing the short.
I saw in other forums possibly the wiring to the fuel lift pump? I also did have the inline fuel pump changed last year. any ideas where I should look to find out the problem? Thanks in advance.

Last year I had a guy do some work on the truck and he had to put a new starter in, well he didn't put the bolt that secures the front end of the starter and also secures a metal plate above the starter . which was hanging loose and was either coming into contact with the connection coming from the solenoid wire connection I bolted this plate back up and it ran with no problems all week.. now I should go and have this guy give me the money for the two tows I have for his lack of doing the job right....
