Well first of all thanks for all the help so far dude! (Just-Another-Dieselguy) you have been a huge help! How the hell did you type all that with voice to text? Lol

Alright so I've decided a few things... I'm going to do the injectors myself. I've worked on cars before, but this will probably be the most major repair I've done. I'm I crazy? Its it pretty straight forward? I've watched all the below videos and its seems pretty simple enough. Problem is, I don't know the "No nos" of this repair, so i don't want to accidentally mess anything else up.

( Videos on replacing injectors, the are in order )

So here comes the hard questions. Do I replace all 8? Do I just replace #4? Or Should I replace #4 and the other 3 that the mechanic said were going out? I believe the other 3 are on the driver side of the engine, so it will be more difficult.

That will take care of the injector issue, but 3 issues remain.
- Leaking small amount of fuel from where the blue spring mod goes. ( My brother and I replaced the keyhole "oring" and did the blue spring mod. But apparently the housing was slightly warped because its leaking, again. )
- Chew holes in injector harness just above the #1 injector, pictured about in my post. Ill just repair the wires and return the harness I purchase.
- Glow plug harness needs to be replaced. Mechanic said its done for also. Is that hard as well?

Can you give me some links to purchase the real deal injectors? I really don't want shitty ones, and I don't want my poor judgment to allow me to purchase something subpar.

Are there any special tools I need? Anything I need to prepare for? My brother suggested doing the fuel filters again prior to doing the injectors. Just to make sure nothing bad gets to them from the fuel tank.

Thanks again!

Just so everybody knows that reads this. It went to a voice conversation to make things easier, I am currently working on a 6.0 injector replacement thread for those guys that are looking to do it them selves for the first time
