Hey all ,i have a 1984 suburban with stock 6.2 i just replaced the glow plugs and now indicator for the glow plugs stays on faintly ?Did not have this issue before but i know most of the plugs were bad,i also replaced the controller but didnt change anything.I checked some stuff out but only thing i did find is if i unplug the alternator wires it gos out .Also noticed Alt outputs dropped to 12 ?
So im thinking bad alternator,what do you guys think?
Hate bother yall but wifes vans don with trans issues and this is the only vehicle we have right now.

Did you check your glow plug relay? Check this to see if you have good voltage there, or if its bad.
