we just bought a 2000 f350 with a 7.3 with 352k miles about a month ago just this week we had a proublem come up....ok here it goes.both batterys are aboult 11 months old the battery light will come on and then it wont take its fuel (dead pedal) after about 5 minutes battery light will go out and truck will run(take fuel with the pedal) just fine until the baterry light comes back on tonight i took pedal out looked like sensor had been changed(had hex screws holding it in place)so i sprayed all the contacts with cleaner drove the truck and battery light came on again but this time it didnt effect the gas pedal any thoughts? also there was a little sensor below the pedal control sencer is this cruise? my cruise dont work and lastly under the hood next to the fusebox is like 3 large fuses that look kinda caroded any clue to what these go to i didnt get a owners manual with truck to show fuse id ???? any help would be great thank you

Do you have access to a scantool like Autoenginuity or Scanguage? My first thought is a short in your wiring somewhere.
