Default F350 6.0 running rough, killing

We are 10 hours from home inTX with 7 Labradors on our dog truck in Big Cabin, OK. Temps in the 20's here and we need to get to warmer weather. Yesterday we bought fuel in Kansas City and headed south. We drove about 4 hours and slowed down for a toll booth. The truck was running so rough it was bouncing. We got back up to speed, coughing and choking engine and dashboard lights dimmed then came back on. We stopped at last toll booth and engine still coughing and rough. Got to truck stop, and pulled in line to wait for diesel pump--thinking it is bad fuel from Kansas City. Truck kills and won't stay running. After 3rd try, truck starts and we get to pump. We add 20 gallons of fuel (tank is 40 gallons) and start truck. It runs rough, but doesn't kill. We get to Super 8 a mile away, and plug truck in. This a.m. truck starts, runs rough but a little better. Truck stop only does big rigs. Ford dealer in Vinita is looking at truck now. Husband said truck ran pretty good on way to dealership. At this point, we want to get to warmer weather in TX and not break down.

We did not notice any issues with starting or running while in Kansas City area for a few days. Truck was plugged in and started and ran well until we slowed at toll booth.

Injector? Bad fuel? If water in fuel, is there a good additive for it?

Vinita Ford says bad injector on left side. Replacement of 4 injectors on left side will be done by 3 p.m. and we will be back on the road. $1400 and oil change. Mechanic also checking high pressure diesel pump, but thinks it is ok.
