Just jumpin in here....
Being my Hound is a genuine retired Greyhound Bus, some Mods are inevitable.
So here we go, hope you enjoy the roller coaster ride as much as I do
I'll just start with what I'm working on right now.... Gauges and designing the dash.
After this, there is a plethora of big ticket items that need to be addressed.... Wheels, brakes, seals, rearend, trans, steering and so on....
Some personal preference & others because parts are obsolete and need to be changed out.
So "Lets Get Modified" !!!!
As you well know, it is hard to find info on a genuine retired antique Greyhound Bus, so any and all PRO info is much appreciated.
So.... Back to the job of the moment.... Gauges and modifying the dash.
I've been searching way more than a year for vintage gauges and have come to the conclusion I'll probably never find what I need in my lifetime and will now welcome the mod tho try to keep a vintage look. I'll be moving all gauges to one side of the steering column and stereo GPS system to the other side. Gauges are Air Pressure, speedometer, tachometer, water temp, oil pressure, batt Amps.
Also, any input on my pre 500 hound will be much appreciated.
Quality is a good thang

I developed an air leak in the line going to the dash gauge and had a spare with a great face so I figured I would swap em out. The problem is that the original one tops out at 120 lbs and when I hooked up the one with the good face it tops out at 110 lbs.
not knowing which one ....if either.... Are accurate, I feel it is time to modify the dash and get a complete set of gauges..... So I'm looking for good quality gauges with a vintage look.

Oh well, guess nobody thinks gauges are all that important, so I decided to let Redline Gaugeworks fix me up with a complete new re-design. till then Ill just have to be satisfied with my original Air Brake Gauge and busted speedometer and continue using my GPS for speed checking till the job is done.
I'll post pictures when it's done!
