Default 05 6.0 serpentine belt not fitting??

ok,
run down,
bought new belt for my 6.0 (decided to do maintenance this weekend), old belt fell right off didnt need any tension relieved or anything. now the new belt is on according to the diagram (which has an extra pulley on it btw???) it is all correct, i have checked it multiple times. the issue is that its loose, i have double checked my part number (dayco 5081260) and it is the correct belt, the tensioner pulley is not on the kick stand as i never used the tension pulley, i just removed the alternator to do this.. so any help would be much appreciated maybe im just missing something but ive checked 100 searches and have yet to find a solution to my problem.. i need my truck running within the next few hours.. HELP!!!!

Not quite following, is this a common issue? I have owned the truck for over 2 years now no issues

ok just got time from work/school. got my tensioner off, removed the radiator shroud and unbolted the fan shroud to get to it easier and to test it before i yanked it out. this thing is just completely jammed up, i had my breaker bar on it giving it everything i had and it wasnt budging either way. so i took it off and it looks like its stuck on almost fully un tensioned, so ill go tomorrow (black friday, wish me luck) to get a new tensioner and update you guys then.
if anyone else has any other ideas im still open..im not 100% sure that this is the complete cause of the loose belt.
also if theres anything i should do while my trucks torn apart let me know, i can pull the radiator out in ten minutes now . ive drained the coolant and will replace it with something else (had ford gold in it). theres also a good amount of oil on my undercarriage (looks like its very clean) im not finding any leaks so i think that it may be from when i took it to let the quick lube change my oil, they must have spilled it but if there are any leak points let me know so i can check them
thanks!

Be careful with coolant. It is critical to use ford gold as other coolants don't mix with ford gold. You are asking for oil cooler and egr cooler problems if u mix! Fluids are all critical in these modern diesels. 75 gallons a minute yes minute flow thru system to maintain proper temps. Newer diesels are hindered by EPA regulations and sensitive to fluids not up to par with factory stuff. My local parts store has my ford gold coolant, mercon sp and lv and motorcraft filters in stock for us truck guys!

Remember there's two belts one for one alternator & one for two alternators
