so about six months ago my 97 f250 4x4 psd with 300,000mi started spitting and sputtering like it was running out of fuel, finally quit.m hauled it home, so far, changed ipr, icp, cps, fuel pump, fuel filter, tested hpop and noticed when i block off the pass side hpo line truck will crank and run (as good as one will on just four cyls) so i replaced orings on all eight injectors and no change, hpop res stays full, fuel bowl stays full, checked all wiring, now im pulling out all of my hair trying to figure this one out!!!

oh fyi its a 7.3 dogged daily, been a very reliable truck till now

 

Sounds like if you capped the one off and it runs, uncapped it don't, an injectors are good, something in the head is messed up. Not real knowledgable on the 7.3l but that's what it sounds like
