Default 24 valve injector pump?

Just bought this truck... 2001. Cummins 24 valve qcsb...5sp manual, diesel performance inc. Lift pump, edge juice with attitude, injectors, south bend clutch, 232k miles... the truck has ran great up until last week, I drove it to work and it sat all day in the 90 degree weather. When I left the parking lot I couldnt get out of third get becaus of lack of rpms. I drove maybe a mile and it came alive like normal. Rest of the day no problems. The fuel pressure was between 19 and 21 psi when I couldnt gain rpms. Now its doing it more often but once I warm it up for a minut or two it runs fine and runs great all day even if I let it sit. Sometimes ill start it let it idle then shut it off...when I shut it off it will run for 30-40 seconds with the key in the off position before it actually shuts down? What is it? Pump? Air in lines? Solenoid sticking? I havent tried bleading the lines yet I will tomorrow. Let me know what you think... like I said idles fine and maintains fuel pressure according to the attitude display. Also today the voltage indicator ran up to 18 volts for a bit? Doubt its related but fyi.

Thanks

Have you hooked it up to a scanner to check for codes? Sounds like it could be the edge chip acting up. Try unpluging it and make sure you plug the factory sensor harnesses back in and see if there is any change. The edge also has a turbo timer feature that is probably causing the delayed shut down.

deff start by unhooking the edge. that is what it seems like the problem is. if you unhook it and it still does it, I would say the IP is starting to go out.
