I just got a Edge juice with attitude and slapped it on went for a cruise and tried it on 5 worked real good for a few miles then all of a sudden it had no power and puffin white smoke so I was like #@*%!!!! got it back home limping it cuz rpms wouldn't go above 1250 all the while driving back it was still puffin white took the chip off disconnected batteries to reset comp. then hooked the batteries back up it puffed lightly white smoke for a min then it went away drove it the rest of the day no probs so I figure its prolly just the chip but the guy I bought it from told me not to beat on it right away so maybe that's the problem but I didn't know how true that is that the edge will learn your truck and if it was why would that happen Overfueling? if anyone has some insight that would be nice

sounds like a junk programmer, toss it and get an sct preferably from innovative diesel with custom tunes

 

Yea that's kinda what I thought just didn't know if the programmer made another problem show its face

 

do you still have egr system?

 

yes sir

 

Id go ahead and get rid of that soon as possible your tuner can disable the egr valve function and the coolers are very leak prone.

 

I put in my Edge and it works great. It tells you to take It easy in the beginning otherwise you could screw things up.
