Default 2003 f250 6.0L...

So i start the truck this morning and it starts perfect and after warming up drove it halfway to school. About halfway i thought i had a flat tire becase the truck was shaking, after pulling over and getting out of the truck i realized it was the engine. It was idling violently and shaking the entire truck at a dead stop. Pulled back onto rode and had 0 power until 5 mph, then it was sloppy, will not go over 35 mph.....

I have no clue what this is. When initially taking off it hesitates and will not move for a second, almost feels like it wants to stall or something. Need help, got 3 more classes and im done for the day, i need some info on what the possible problems could be. Ive dumped $6000 into this engine from problems already, so i think this is its final battle....

We LTK, do you first off have a CEL lights?

It can be numerous things from FICM, to injectors... I would assume the shaking would be the injecotors cutting out.

Why did you need all of those new parts? I'm always baffled when 8 injectors are replaced on one of these.

Could be a high pressure oil problem. Could even be a low pressure system problem. Is the oil pressure gauge on the dash up? Let it sit and get cold and try starting it and see how it runs.

What is the temp. where you are at now, if you are in a normally warm area and now have a real cold snap then it is possible your fuel is gelling, don't think the lower states always use the anti gelling stuff in the fuel.

Just looked at the receipts and only 8 glow plugs, turbo, and ficm was replaced. Injectors are still stock at 194k miles.

Temp has been about 25-35 degrees for the past week or so. Havent had any problems starting up.

I had an injector,3 of them at different times, have the nut come off on the injector and it had a dead miss, it would rattle your teeth, it would get up to speed though but had to run in tow mode to keep rpms up and it wasn't as bad, just did that to get me home.

towed it to a friends house and getting someone to look at it... i dont think its an injector, there is absolutely no smoke. i actually reved the truck up some, and it died and wouldnt start back. it kept cranking..

Well from the sounds of it LTK you HPOP went down, from what you have described that what it seems like to me. I would check and see what your ICP pressures are and if they are good its most likely the HPOP. At least you have another rig to use.. I think anyways. If you need to gimme a call and I can help you around doing the simple checks. Hopefully the ford guys are ok with my thoughts.

Our 6.0L been doing good, just gotta get the damn brakes to work right!

Ok if we cant figure out i believe ill be giving you a call! This is the last straw, sadly, i cannot put another dime in this truck. If i cant fix it for less than $200-300 ill be selling it for $6000..

Yep i have the cummins to drive, but its salty out, thats why i havent been driving it. Also has no e brake anymore, so im going first thing in the mornin to get it adjusted/replaced if we cant adjust. I believe it is stretched or something. I just have no luck!!
