Hello, I have a 2003 6.0 F350 when I bought it, it wasn't running. The guy I bought it from said it was running fine, he pulled in the yard, shut it off and it never started again. I put 2 new batteries and some new fuel in it. It will crank but, no start. I can get it to fire on a shot of starting fluid but, won't start other wise. I was getting a no communication code so I sent out the FICM. Installed FICM still no start, change the ICP and the connector and still getting codes P0261, P2285 next?

What's your HPOP pressure when it's trying to start?

That's just engine oil pressure.

Claimed he bought it from his brother who hadn't had any trouble, then he had it for a year or so, claims he hadn't done anything other than service. Truck has high miles 290000, but in really nice shape no signs of over heating, which I asked him about. They've text me a couple of times asking if I figured out what was wrong and if I had it running yet. We haven't been below 60 at night so, cold crank not an option yet.

Thats quite a few miles for a 6.0!! Hopefully its something minor.

When i said cold start, i meant just like after sitting 4-5 hours so that the fluids are drained back down and cold because a hpop problem will be hard or no starting when warm right after shutting off, but dtarts fine when cold.

This is a no start. It's been sitting in my yard for a month.

I always like to cold start trucks i buy. When i go to buy it i start it myself. Then once its warm turn off and on 3-4 times, rev it a little bit around 1700-2000 for 10-15 secs. Just kinda weeds out some issues it could have.

Next time you wont make a mistake hopefully!! These 6.0's become expensive to work on trust me!

I wish u the best of luck!
