I had a ford 99 powerstroke, I recently got my 99 2500 automatic. I have to say the cummins has a little more perkiness to it, Idk why if its lighter or what but if I tap the gas it takes of immediately, ill look at my speedo without even knowing it but ill be 10 miles over the speed limit cause it doesn't feel like im doing 80 but I am . I will say this to me the ford rode better but the interior is still comfortable in my dodge.

make sure that automatic wasn't abused! make sure no programmers or anything were on it. thats a pretty cheap price. i would be skeptical, but you never know! people go through money problems. just check it over with a fine-tooth comb!
