Hi everyone, I bought a mazda/perkins 2.2l diesel that came out of a rusty ranger. I am in the middle of putting it in a 95 ranger. It is taking longer than I thought, but I will soon try and see if it will run. I also need some help with connecting some of the wires, etc???? If it works I may take a look at biodiesel later,

 

 

update, I could hardly wait to see if the engine would actually run (since I bought it from a junk yard). So I hooked up a plastic jug and cranked it over. It started in just a few seconds, leveled out in about 30 seconds and sounded great. Wow, i was excited. BUT the next day I could not start and it never started. I guess that it was out of fuel since I set the jug down. Any ideas or tips, thanks
