Someone's got to be the oddball!
Hi to everyone on this great forum. I'm a newbie here and would like to introduce myself. I'm older than dirt, (Rudolph Diesel and I went to the same high school). I drive a stock 06 Duramax, and a recently acquired 98 Mercedes E300D.
I've been very happy with the Chevy. Its been basically turn the key,start and go. Its the Benz that I'm most interested in right now. Its a simple IDI 606 series engine, but there's no aftermarket performance equipment for it.
I'll be looking at this forum for performance guidance on this car. Perhaps simple things like intake, and exhaust to start, maybe even water injection.
I'm truly impressed with all of the experience and knowledge there is on this forum and am looking forward being a member.
