Hello from Iowa!
Hello all, the name's Austin.
I know, I know.. I'm working on buying my first unit now. I work at a local trucking company, playing the role as shop b****. But something about diesel motors and their components intrigue me, to a crazy amount. I live in the small town of Alburnett, which is roughly 15 minutes north of Cedar Rapids. It's one of those towns where you can point out someone's truck by the sound of it coming down Main Street. The only shops around here (and are damn good) are Black Magic diesel, and Black Widow. (Those black widow folk are nuts!) Anywho, I just saw this site and was moping around and saw some very useful information. I'm a cummins type of guy, but a diesel is a diesel -- everyone has their thing. Just stopping by to introduce myself, see y'all in the forums!
