Default UFF DA from Minnesota!

Just acquired my first Cummins. '97 3/4ton, 5spd, 2 wheeler. It was my finall paycheck from previous employer. They had no money so I received the truck in payment. Currently has a Stahl fiberglass utility box (kind of heavy). Looking for a rust free 8' box. My goal is to see how efficient I can get this thing to run. I am hoping for 25+mpg. I have had a DSL in the driveway my entire driving life. 1st was an '86 Chevette 5spd (55mpg), body fell apart for the last time at 287k. 2nd was an '81 Scout and several 6.9 and 7.3 Fords. Any suggestions on my project and were to start would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

diesels love to breath,so a better exhaust, and air filter helps out.
But the most important thing to do on 12v's is get the kdp fixed first.(killerr dowel pin)
