Hi all, my name is John and I'm from Rimbey Alberta. I'm new to diesel trucks, but I've been a licenced auto tech since 96. The smaller shop I worked at sent all the diesel work to dealerships so I will have a few things to learn. I just bought my diesel a couple weeks ago it is a 2001 Ram 2500 4x4 quad cab. With the 24v and auto trans. It is all stock so far but is getting a single billet torque converter and a straight pipe in the next couple weeks. Thanks for having me. Cheers

Thanks for the welcome. You are kind of the reason I joined this forum. I was surfing the net looking for 24 valve info and this site came up and I saw you were from Penhold and had the same truck I did. So I thought it would be nice to have someone with local knowledge and connections. I'm glad to be here and I'm sure I'll have all kinds of questions.
These are my other hobbies. Offroading with the family in my Suzuki Samurai and some racing in my 80 Monte Carlo. I have a 750hp Vortech supercharged 454 I'm building up for it for this summer.

 

I've talked to Aaron at CT, and plan on taking my head there to get o-ringed.

There is lots of information on this site, and lots of helpful people.
