Default New guy with half project

I am kinda new to diesels. I have been around them all my live but never really understood them. I always had a chevy with a 350 until I took on my fathers 1/2 complete fummins project. I am a robotic technician by day and a mechanic in spare time.

Project details
87 F350 crew cab dually centurion was 7.3 international diesel and C6 auto trans now a 93 12V cummins with the gutrag 5 speed. There are no mods to the engine as of yet. Rear gearing unknown as of the moment but is known to be LOW

I just finished it to the point of registering it and driving it in the past week. now to start cosmetic work.

With every diesel I keep seeing and all of the advantages of diesel, I am glad I have this truck together, though I don't pull often, I may start soon as I am planning starting my own business.

Those Centurion trucks were pretty cool. I had an 89 Bronco years ago and always thought the full size Centurion Bronco was awesome.

I am falling more and more for this truck the more I drive it. The only thing I keep saying HAS to be done for a great ride, is refinishing the interior, painting it can wait. The wood trim, carpet front seats and headliner. It had a leak in the roof where the air horn was mounted. I still have to start a thread asking opinions of gearing for this. And add a pic or 2 of the truck.
