New Member, Joe. I have a straight stock 2004 f-350, 6.0, 6-speed manual, with 173,000, my first and only diesel. I have been reading this site for about a week before I joined. I look forward to learning alot and have already from the post and comments on here. I just retired from the Navy after 30 years in communications. Big University of Kentucky fan. (basketball)
Only things I have done to my truck is add an FS2500 by-pass filter and an SCT Livewire. My truck is a daily driver and I got the SCT to improve my mileage. I loaded the Economy setting and have dropped my mileage. Currently getting 16-17 MPG and just a little more straight highway. I have been reading a few threads, need to find them now that I joined, about getting a better flash for the SCT to improve my mileage. Only mods I'm looking for are to improve mileage. I have heard that the stock air filter is ok. Don't know if I need to upgrade exhaust or not. But, I will get back into those threads and ask.
