Default Hi!!! Tranny Chip Question

new to the site just checking it out


anyone know if they make a transmission chip for an 05 dodge cummins 48re its got 43k and tranny is shifting kinda sloppy

I don't know of any specific tranny chips. A performance chip for the truck will prob finish off the tranny. You should put a post in the Dodge section and you are probably going to get more responses from knowledgable guys.

Chips are for Engine Performance not Transmission Performance , Sounds like your in need of a Band Adjustment and a Converter

Not entirely true. Alot of the performance boxes out there do more than the engine.

There are some chips out there that do specific things (like BD's Tow/Auto loc series, ATS Commander, and others) for transmissions.

Welcome to the site.
I have the Painless trans controller (made by SP Diesel) and it works great. It locks up in 3rd and Od set at what ever speed i set it at.
