Default Hi

While briefly browsing the 7.3 Powerstroke section of this forum, I thought to myself, "Self -- it looks like they care about and maintain a section for OBS (Old Body Style) Powerstrokes and don't treat the section like a left over, neglected, and rarely considered vestige of a larger interest." I hope I'm right. I need to do some work to the ol' girl so I'll be browsing often for info.

The obligatory introduction: I have a 1996 Powerstroke long bed super cab 4x4 that was my dad's. It took me years to talk him out of it and now he wants it back

I've had some other 7.3's, a '95 and a '99. I enjoy the pickups but it seems I have this unerring ability to pickup a truck right before pretty much every pump and pulley on the front of the engine goes out.

I'm recently retired from the Southwest trying to live the good life in Montana. I could do with more money and less back pain though...

Anyway, "Hi."

PS. Cool smilies.
